Panamax Releases New MAX® ImagePro™ Power Management for Digital Office Equipment

New 15- and 20-Amp Conditioners Offer Firewall for Noise™ Circuitry to Ensure Peak Performance

PETALUMA, Calif. — Aug. 1, 2007 — Panamax, Inc., a world-leading provider of power management solutions, today announced the release of two new power conditioners to its MAX® ImagePro™ series. Available in either 15-amp or 20-amp models, these conditioners are designed to provide clean power while protecting digital office equipment from a variety of undesirable power conditions, including normal and common-mode EMI/RFI noise interference, ground noise, surges, spikes, and sustained over-voltages. The MAX ImagePro 15A-EX and MAX ImagePro 20A-EX replace the MAX ImagePro 15 and MAX ImagePro 20.

The MAX ImagePro 15A-EX and MAX ImagePro 20A-EX feature Firewall for Noise™ circuitry, which provides enhanced neutral-to-ground filtration to combat EMI/RFI noise. In addition, an improved two-stage common-mode architecture provides compatibility for ground-fault circuit interrupters (GFCI) and complies with UL 1283 for electromagnetic interference filters, UL 1449 for transient voltage suppressors, and UL 1363 for relocatable power taps.

For optimal performance of digital components and to ensure the longevity of office equipment, the new conditioners also offer Automatic Voltage Monitoring (AVM), which automatically detects a prolonged over-voltage and disconnects the power to the connected equipment, then reconnects it when the power returns to a safe level.

An included wiring fault-safety shutoff detects miswired wall receptacles or open-grounds by monitoring the voltage between neutral and ground. If an unsafe condition exists, the conditioners will disconnect the power from the connected equipment. In addition, the ImagePro 15A-EX and ImagePro 20A-EX feature telephone line protection with fuseless auto-resetting technology and optimized circuitry to ensure a clean, clear signal. Two pairs of RJ-11/45 jacks are included for protection of two Ethernet 10/100 Base-T network pathways.
